Expectation: Your Faith Has Made You Whole!

 Expectation!

Matthew 9:20-21 ( NIV) “Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” This beautiful soul has been dealing with an illness for 12 long years, but she believed with all of her heart that if she touched Jesus then she would be healed.

The depth of her faith was amazing! After 12 years of fighting the same battle, seeking different doctors for help with no success. She did not get weary! She did not have a doubt! She made a confident and positive statement that once she got to Jesus that she would be healed.

Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”  The depth of our faith is important. When we pray to God we must believe in the power of our prayers, and the power of God!  James 5:16 (NIV) “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

The depth of your faith plus the Will of God, will heal you, will guide you into a peaceful state, and comfort you. Jesus would heal people and then he would explain that their faith made them well. Our faith is important!

Mark 5:34 (NIV) “He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

Another example is  Matthew 9:28-29 ( NIV) “When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, '' Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, ``According to your faith let it will be done to you”;

What is in your heart? What are you praying to God for? According to your faith and of course, God’s will then it will be done. We must remember to

Seek the kingdom of God to ensure that we are in the same accord as our Lord and savior. Once we know that God agrees with our plans or dreams then we just need to be patient and believe that it will manifest! Your expectation of God’s power lives in the depth of your faith! Do you believe that God can do the impossible? If you limit God’s power in your life, then he will honor your expectation! If you have high expectations of God then he will honor your expectations! In Jesus' hometown he could not perform miracles because of their lack of faith. Mark 6:5-6 (NIV) “He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. He was amazed at their lack of faith!”

Reading; Mark 5:25-34
