Invasive Fungal Infection (IFI) 

An invasive fungal infection (IFI) occurs when 
fungi enter the body and spread to deep tissues 
or organs, causing serious illness. 
Causes: 
  • Weakened immune system due to
  • Aspergillus, Candida, Cryptococcus,
  •  Histoplasma, 
  • and Mucor. 

  • Symptoms: 
  • Fever 
  • Cough 
  • Shortness of breath 
  • Chest pain 
  • Fatigue 
  • Night sweats 
  • Skin lesions 
  • Joint pain 
  • Organ dysfunction (e.g., kidney failure, liver damage) 
Diagnosis: 
  • Blood cultures 
  • Tissue biopsy 
  • Chest X-ray 
  • CT scan 
  • Serological tests (e.g., galactomannan, 1,3-beta-d-glucan) 
Treatment: 
  • Antifungal medications (e.g., amphotericin B, fluconazole, itraconazole) 
  • Surgery (in some cases) 
  • Supportive care (e.g., oxygen therapy, pain management) 

Alternative Treatment:


Rice, Garlic and Cinnamon will cure invasive fungal infection, eat a portion as well as apply an amount/ portion to the body, ( use protective equipment gloves and etc) 

Cook rice as instructed on the package but add in some garlic  while the rice is cooking. Once the rice and garlic is done, sprinkle some cinnamon on the top let it cool and enjoy.
