The Patience of God! Give Faith a Fight Chance

                                                                     The Patience of God!

God is patient, his thoughts and plans for us are also prosperous and patient. I want to share a lesson that I recently re-learned when I wanted God to fix a situation right away, and he did not. I realize a great and effective plan takes time. 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." In times of trouble, we look for God to come in as a knight in shining armor to immediately rescue us from the opponent, the people, or things that come against us. However, we have to understand that God is patient, it's a beautiful quality that Our father has, but at times God's naturally patient personality, can cause us anguish and dismay (anxiety and depression).  When people are living a life of sin, God is patient with them, he continues to provide for them, love them, and offer opportunities for them to repent. Just as he is patient with sinners, God is patient in times of battle. God is all-knowing before the battle starts, God is aware of the hottest parts in the battlefield, as well as the skill set and weakness of the warriors who are facing the Giants. The God we love sees the "Valley of the Battle" from vision 1, vision 2 and Vision 3, and He observes the different outcomes before sending a dream, a vision or prophet to you.. God is patient so once he is ready then he can address the situation in a number of different ways. As we wait on him, we may get frustrated, but we have to walk by faith and not by sight. We walk by trusting and belief in God and you may say we walk by sign, miracles and wonders, but not by what our natural eyes see.

"According to the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary, faith has multiple definitions, including "something that is believed especially with strong conviction", "complete trust", "belief and trust in and loyalty to God", as well as "a firm belief in something for which there is no proof"

One of the purposes of the battle, is to help us see our Truth, will we continue to have faith like Job, Daniel, and the three Hebrew boys by continuing to trust and obey God, in the fire? It is our time, to pray that you keep the faith, and give faith a fighting chance. Your mind is key to overcoming all obstacles while you wait!
