She sits at her kitchen table, with sorrow in her heart, and she says, where do broken hearts go? A tear rolled down her eyes, and she felt as if she was going to melt inside. She remembered his embrace, how he smelled when he held her, and how his strong voice felt in her ears. She felt like they were meant to be, but lately, he has the smell of another woman on his shirt. By the look in his eyes, she knew that he was in love with another woman. Oh, she could have died the moment she realized her love was not enough. She remembered his sweet promise that we could have it all. Successful career, a child and a wonderful life, just trust me.
She trusted him, but now she was feeling like a clown. Oh, God, my heart is broken, I feel as if I can't breathe, please help me, she screamed. She smiled and sat up, and said a prayer in her head to make sure that God was in agreement with her to amending her marriage. She was still hurt, but it felt as if he said all the right things. Before she could answer it, she heard the door open, then she heard her husband's voice on the camera system telling the person they better get out of the house. She grabs her phone and calls 911, as she peaks around the corner to see a beautiful woman standing there, and the woman has something in her hand. She yells at the wife, he is mine and I am better than you. The wife is taken off guard, oh, you are his affair. The woman runs away. The husband heads home from work and takes his wife to a family member's house and heads to talk with his mistress, but before he could arrive at her home. He is hit by a car. He tries to control the steering wheel, but he can't. One moment he is fighting to not drive into a building and the next moment, he is unconscious. The mistress gets out of the car and says, If I can't have you then no one can, and she drives off.
Nearby passengers call 911 who arrive on the scene. The cop has a description of her car from a video and picture of her license plate from a witness. He is bloody and fighting for his life. His ancestors surround him and say, repent, repent, so God can help you, you fool repent. He repents, and God sends healing to him. He is unconscious again. His wife arrives at the hospital in tears, and as she sees him lying in the hospital bed, with bands and tubes, she realizes that nothing else matters. Her heart is broken again. She walks over to him and God reminds her that love conquers all. She kisses his forehead and says, I loved you then, I love you now and I always will. He opened his eyes, and said, I cant die without you, so I guess I have to live. And you shall, you fool said his ancestors. His wife takes his hand and said some things are worth fighting for, and the baby in her womb, kicked and sucking his thumb, said yep, mama. I am worth fighting for too, so eat something.
