Hurt Dont Change: (Part 3)

 Tootsie, sits in the bathroom stall crying, she can't believe that Kat is dead. She is trying to remove for a good time call Kat and Kat’s telephone number off the wall. She then hears Hazel and Almond talking, Girl, this week has been rough. My mom wants me to watch my little brother, so she can pick up extra hours at work, and I am so tired and sad. I just don't want to do anything. Almond says, yes, I get it, I babysit for my aunt after school, and I am so busy, I miss out on everything, but my family needs money. Tootsie walks out of the stall, and they both just look at her, both realize that people make mistakes, but her decision may have caused someone their life. Almond smiles at her, how are you? I am a mess, said tootsie, I am a complete mess. Hazel said, we hope things get better for you. Tootsie smiled and another tear rolled down her eyes. Almond and Hazel continue to talk about their struggles, they both could not believe that Kat had died, she had only been at the school for like 2 months, maybe. They both were sad about her situation as well as frustrated with living the poor life.

 Almond said, Hazel, my family is so poor, we can only afford to say po. My parents make too much to get help from the government, but we struggle to keep food and clothes on our backs. Hazel said, I get it, my mom gets help, but I need new sneakers.. I keep cleaning my current ones, but it's getting embarrassing, but hopefully with this next check, she can get me some new kicks. 

 

Just then Brazil walks in the bathroom, rolls her eyes and yells, move it along, this bathroom is now mine. The girls leave as they do not feel like fighting with her. Brazil takes a picture of the bottom of Hazel shoes which has a small hole in it. Omg, she laughed, how sad, and she posted it online. Immediately, Macadamia and Pistachio liked the picture and forwarded the picture. When Peanut sees the picture, shakes his head and posted to Brazil, that's why I dumped you, grow up!  Brazil is embarrassed and removes the post. Brazil thinks, if I look like Hazel, you would still want me. Just then Brazil gets a message from Macadamia with two laughing emoji’s.. Thanks Brazil said then she texts Hazel has nothing on me. Macadamia text back, she has been wearing the same clothing for like forever, and did you see my new outfit my nana bought me from sweden, we might go this summer. Ugh, you are so lucky Brazil texted back. 

Hazel and Almond look at each other, they both hate their next classes, Hazel has a gym with what she calls OEM ( Old Entitled Money), which is Brazil, Macadamia and Pistachio. Almond has a study hall with Candy, Tootsie and now an empty seat as Kat is missing. It wasn't so bad before as Candy is always nice, but Tootsie is rude at times and Kat always was a mystery, but now it's overwhelming with sadness. Almond says Ok, let's just go.. They slowly walk away from each other and head to their next class. Almond says Hazel is my refuge, is my storm.. Hazel thinks, so grateful for Almond without her.. I don't know where I would be. 

Hazel goes to her gym locker to change her clothes and realizes that her locker has dirt and grass everywhere. Macadamia slammed the locker and said I got you some extra dirt to match your shoes. Hazel wants to cry, she does not need a reminder about how hard it is to keep clean clothing, but she stays quiet, and she stays strong. Pistachio laughs out loud and finishes changing then pushes Hazel into the locker. Stay away from Peanut, she said, he is ours and he does not want you anyways. OEM leaves, Hazel quickly changes, and takes a deep breath to keep from crying, and reminds herself, you are strong, it's three against one. You just have to make it 45 minutes.. Just 45 minutes and you will be back with Almond again. 

Gym class is terrible, they are supposed to be playing basketball, but somehow Hazel continues to get hit with the basketball. Every hit felt like a blow to her self esteem, it felt as if the basketball was saying everyone is better than you. The gym teacher does not say a word to OEM, but he tells Hazel, next week we will be running on the track, those shoes wont due. Did you hear me said Mr. Pine. Yes, said Hazel with her head down, and overwhelming sadness in her heart. Ugh, maybe resting in Peace is not so bad, because I can't take this anymore. 

Hazel walks into the locker room and before she can reach for her clothes, mud is thrown on her and she is covered from head to toe. She is in complete shock, why are they being so mean, they have everything: money, nice clothes, and even their own cars, and all she wants is kindness and new shoes. She breaks, and she cries, and they laugh and run out of the locker room. Mr. Pine walks in and sees her with mud all over, and walks out. I am not dealing with this girl who has issues. Hazel walks to the guidance office and calls her grandma who brings her some old clothes. She cried on her grandma, I know baby, life is unfair and tough. She changed and I will talk with the principal about this. Grandma Pecan is tired of the mistreatment of her grand baby and this school better fix it, right now! The principal agreed to talk with all the students about bullying and have Hazel meet with the people who are targeting her. Grandma does not like this idea and wants the children to be suspended and apologize to Hazel. Hazel smiled and said one thing, I know, is my family loves me, but ugh, my soul is in pain.. And I am not sure if I can let this go. I am tired of this.. Hazel then sees her reflection and smiles as she has her grandpa’s clothes on, sweatpants and a white t-shirt, but they fit, and her grandma's new balance, well at least they are new and comfortable thinks Hazel. Hazel walks out the bathroom and Peanut laughs, she turns mad at first then he says why are we twinning. She smiles and laughs. He hugs her and says, "What's up homie. She smiles and tries not to cry. I gotta get going, she says. You always got to go, he says. Tell Almond, I said what's up. Hazel laughs, I know, he sees me. And I can tell by his face that he likes me, and she smiles, but I can't deal with OEM, they are too much for me. 

Almond is looking for Hazel and she is getting worried, class is almost over and she is not here yet. Finally, she walks in with different clothes on and Almond knows.. OEM did something. She instantly got pissed off. After class, Almond asks Hazel what happened? Hazel tells her bestie everything.. I am so sick of them, said Hazel, I can't take it. Almond said, you should not have to take it.. This is too much, they went too far. After school, Almond confronts OEM on Hazel's behalf, if your life is so great, why are you targeting people? They just looked at her. If you have this wonderful dream life then why are you tormenting the rest of us,  like we are crap? They started to cry and walked to their cars. And Peanut said because they don't have a dream life, it's a front, they spent all of their time together. Their Parents are always making money and no one wants to deal with them, they are spoiled. Brazil, she looks up with hope in her eyes, yes, i you gotta stop, we're done, stop telling people we are still together. Whatever she said, and looked at Hazel with envy.

15 years old and In love with Danger ( D.V.) (Part 2)

Ugh, I hate that I love him!

Kat smiled at her text message from Reese.. I do like him, but I do not trust him. Well, I guess all things will be revealed in time. He is nice, he is cute, smart and funny. Kat is so busy, smiling at her text messages that she does not see Tootsie, and walks right into her. watch were you going Kat, for you need a kit. Whatever Tootsie, why don't you just roll out of my way.. Tootsie rolls her eyes at Kat, she likes Kat, but she is so mad because she knows that Candy and Reese have been liking each other for a while and she can't believe that Kat stole Candy’s summer crush.  Kat decided to keep walking on, knowing that her ex Spree has been looking for her. 

Kat gets on the school bus to head home, and she is accepting the fact that she really does like Reese, he is different from Spree. Spree was so hard, he was angry all the time, he was hard to take at times. He never allowed her to be herself, she was so subconscious around him, and when she said something that he did not like, he was quick to put his hands on her.  Her mind went back to a time, they were all drinking at her house, and Spree got so mad that another guy looked at her, that he ran up on the guy and beat him up. Destroyed her mother’s coffee table and broke several Nick Nacts. And When she tried to pull, Spree of the other guy, he turned around and back slapped Kat into the wall and blood ran down her face.

After that Kat knew she had to get away from Spree, but she loved him. She dealt with a couple more fights and decided that, if she did not leave him, that he was going to kill her. He was getting more and more controlling, wanting to know where she was, and telling her how to dress, and who she could interact with. Her self esteem was declining, and she couldn't take it anymore. She told her uncle what was going on, and he allowed her to come and stay with him and his family. For the first time in a long time she felt free. It has been 3 months, now for some strange reason, her heart remembers Spree gently, his kind words, his wisdom, and his strength. She wanted to cry, she liked Reese and she missed Spree. She decided that she was going home this weekend to see her mother and maybe see Spree, maybe time apart would help him appreciate her. 

Just then Reese texted her, Hey, I need to see you, just let me know when you are free. Kat smiled, and said I will be free in about an hour.   

The weekend arrived and Kat’s uncle dropped her off at her mother’s house. It felt so good to be home, everything felt right there. She went to her bed and laid on her bed, it felt so good to be home. She texted Spree, she just wanted to see him. He texted back right away and told her to met at his mom’s. She agreed, and told her mom she would be right back. She quickly grabbed her bike and rode to his house. She knocked on the door once and before she could knock again, the door flew open and Spree was dragging her inside. She slapped her against the wall, and it felt like her whole body shattered. All she could say, is what? Before he started kicking her and before she knew it. He was crying and saying he was so sorry. And he would never hit her again, if she woke up. She stood over him, saying, I am woke, what are you talking about, and then she saw her bruised and bloody body, and saw her dad. Daddy, you died, how can I see you? her Daddy's soul took her hand and they walked away. Spree sat their high crying covered in her blood, the police arrived as the neighbor called the police due to all the screaming, and yelling. He was arrested.

Police looked at Kat, she was beautiful and so young, and a victim of Domestic Violence . Once they got her cellphone opened, they contacted her mother and met with her to disclose the situation. Her mother fell to her knees, as her heart broke in pieces, my baby, my baby girl.. Nooooo, she was only 15 years old. A tear ran down the officer's face, as he had a 15 year old daughter too.    

Later that night, her uncle arrives back at Kat’s mom's house. What happened, shaking from the pain of losing another family member, first his brother now his niece, his brother's baby girl? What happened to my sweet pea. Her mother staring off in space said that boy, that boy killed my baby, with anger in her voice!  I know she was always hiding things from me, she was always lying for him, with bruises on her. And I could not get her away from him fast enough, and for the life of me, I do not understand why she went back to him.  

Reese was smiling and texting Kat, and when she didn't answer, he started to get frustrated because she was not answering. Reese “What's going on, dang?” Tooties texts Reese, and says, "she is dead, she is dead! " What texted Reese. "Spree killed Kat!" texted Tooties.  "How do you know?" Said Reese with tears in his eyes, and he realized this time he was the one who got caught, he was falling in love with her. Tootsies confessed, "I told her ex about you and her to make her mad, but I didn't know he was going to kill her, I didn't know." Reese drops the phone, and his heart tells him, Playa you didn't deserve this, but you needed to learn this lesson, tell Candy, suga, and the others you are sorry for hurting them. Dang, I wasn't enough, she was still trying to see her ex. 

When the autopsy arrived, it showed that she was 2 weeks pregnant with Reese's baby, and she died of blunt force trauma, which is physical injury caused by forceful impact to the body, and a lot of internal injuries.

Kat's soul stood in the store reading the missing posters as she was trying to earn heaven, 17-year old black female missing, 13-year old Caucasian" female missing, and realized, she has seen them both in heaven at the pearly gates with God, and just like her their lovers had killed them. Pray without ceasing for the teenagers, they are living in a different generation.

How did we get here? Speaking from the heart

(Short story)

She heard his laugh, and felt her heart beat for him. She thought oh, no, how did he get here.

How did he get into my heart, and she thought of Deborah Cox’s song, and felt the same way.

No one is supposed to be in my heartbeat except for me and my family.  She looked into his eyes and

knew he was a good person, but she was not ready for love, she just wanted to live life.

Unfortunately, for her  He is strong, wise, and determined, and he knows what he wants, which is her. 

She is rude to him, but he is stone, and ignores her smart remarks, but deep inside. 

she knew that her heart was going to be in trouble. 

One moment, it felt as if they were friends, laughing and joking and the next moment,

they were in love and married. It felt as if She threw her heart at him and he tied the knot,

and they were in love. She prayed to God, as they seem to be having more conflict than good days.

God’s wisdom: “She was able to love, but he was afraid of love” So her marriage turned into 

what  Musiq's soul child would call a  “Mary-go Round”.  In the midst of hurt feelings

she said to her husband, why did you even marry me? He said “ because, I love you”. 

His busy schedule and her chaotic life, caused more struggles in their relationship,

his past childhood trauma made him run from her deep desire to love him fully, and

left them both frustrated. She felt betrayed and alone, and below are the thoughts of a

hurting and wounded mind.

“I loved with honesty and sincerity and my natural eyes saw small signs of betrayal,

but my heart dismissed it.”

One day, she was ready to walk away, but realized that he was sick.

She gave him advice to heal his body and soul, but he did not follow her advice as he was stone.

Her hope was gone, and she felt as if the wind was saying her husband's name and

he did really love her and he was sorry that he was gone. Her heart was broken,

the love for him was still strong, but he was at peace, as he was completely gone,

I wasn't supposed to fall in love again, and she still misses him to this day!

MY NOW and Later (Part 1)

Candy walked into the classroom with her head down, she did not have the strength to look anyone in the eyes, the pain was real, and her heart was hurting. He said he would never hurt me, but now he is saying that to Kat. a tear rolled down her eyes, and she pulled her hat further over her face, and placed her head on her desk, and pretended to listen to the teacher. After class, she walked to the bathroom as fast as she could so no one could see the pain in her eyes, and the marks of devastation on her face. She got played, and Reese, her first love was the one, with the weapon in his hands. 

Reese, sitting in the class laughing, texting Mike, “hey, guess, who I just hit up.”  “Who? “ texted Mike.  “Kat, and it was goooood” texted Reese. “Daaaannng said” Mike then he texted, "I thought your cousin liked her.” Reese texted back. "It's not my fault, he don't have a game”. Wow, let me keep this dude away from my girl, thought mike. Reese already said that she was thicker than a snickers. Reese looked at his phone, no more messages from Mike. 

Candy washed her face then headed to the guidance office to call her aunt. The guidance office allowed Candy to use the telephone as they could tell that she was upset. Aunt Charity, can you please pick me up. What's wrong Candy, baby? EVerything, Auntie. Ok, I am on my way. Once her aunt arrived, Candy fell apart, and cried in her aunt's arms. He said  he was a good guy, he said  he wasn't like other dudes.

Candy, baby, what is going on? Please tell me because I know you and I know something is wrong? Candy, I can't, I feel stupid. Child, we all have moments, when we feel foolish, that's just life. Auntie, this guy, he used me, he used me. Auntie, he was gorgeous, his smile, his walk, his talk and and oh, his laugh. I just wanted him to like me, I wanted him to think that I was special. So when he started talking to me,  it was everything.. I mean, I was so happy,   I was so excited just to see his text messages. 

He asked me to hang out at his crib, and of course, I said Yes, Yes, and Yes! Oooh, said her aunt, so you thought he was Mr. Right and you just learned that he was Mr, Right now. What does that mean, said candy. You thought he was your King, but you realized that he was just a joker. Candy’s eyes widened, that's Right? My sweet niece, I have been there. I met a man that made me wanna, do sumthin, sumthin! And I moved too fast and the next thing, I know, I was his ex and he moved on to his next, and it broke my heart and hurt my pride, he changed my life for the worst. 

Yes, said Candy. You my sweetheart have met what we like to call a “a one hit hitter and quitter” . That's a person playing games with your heart and gets what they want and moves on to the next. Baby, you do not need any scrubs, in your life.. That someone who is just enjoying the ride. Right, said Candy. But Auntie.. I really like him, I feel like I love him. Baby, I can't tell you how your heart feels, but I am telling you to be careful,

You were designed to be a blessing to a man, not a MRS. Right now, but a Mrs, forever.

Candy sat back in her seat and fell asleep. She had a vision of love from God, her later.

She was the happiest she had ever been, she looked in her armar's eyes, and fell deeper in love. He was a rock, his light brown eyes melted her pain away, and his smile let her know that everything would always be ok in his arms.

which can cause more innocent people to be hurt. We are all accountable

 for our behavior and responsible for the younger generation 

that we are blessed to take care of, as well as our fur babies.  

However, when we trained the child

and others up in the way, the way to do what is right in a frustrating situation 

or how to be honest in an un-honest world then we will be blessed. 

and as the ones we teach continue to do the right /good things in their lifetime, 

we will continue to receive blessings from God, 

up to a thousand generations. Make sure to Repent often, because we
